The National Union of Employers

The National Union of Employers is the most prominent employers' organization in Slovakia. Since 2004, it has protected the interests of Slovak employers across all sectors of the economy, including industry, construction, energy, commerce, services, tourism, banking, insurance, the IT sector, and pharmacy. NUE is also a stable part of the social dialogue and participates in the formation of key laws in the areas of labor, social, tax, and wage law as a member of the tripartite system. In dialogue with the government, NUE promotes measures in favor of a favorable business environment based on the principles of legislative predictability and equal opportunities for all.

NUE actively participates in the activities of the most significant international employers' organizations and the working bodies of EU institutions such as BusinessEurope and Business at OECD. It also supports a wide range of domestic and international projects in the areas of dual and lifelong education, digital transformation, and changes in the labor market with the aim of improving the business environment in Slovakia.

Concordia Employers’ Confederation

Concordia Employers’ Confederation represents 14 of the most important sectors in the national economy and companies with more than 330,000 employees, which have a total contribution of 26% to GDP.

Concordia is the only Romanian organization member of BusinessEurope and the International Organization of Employers and Business at OECD (BIAC).

As a representative social dialogue partner, our interests span across a large area of subjects such as the labour market and social dialogue, education, digitalization, consumers’ protection, future of transport, EU funds and circular economy.

University Politehnica of Bucharest

University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB) trains specialists in various technical fields to contribute to Romania's and the world's technological, economic and social-cultural progress. UPB prioritizes education and research to create a new technical university profile that adapts to the requirements of a competitive society and the integration process in Europe and internationally. Its main goal is to train engineers who can adapt to market economy and new technologies with economic and managerial knowledge and promote sustainable development. UPB aims to bring together education, training and scientific research to increase knowledge and innovation. To achieve this, the university must have strong management, autonomy and relevant leadership structures, and facilitate student exchanges, scientific research connections, and renowned teachers. The university's ultimate mission is to produce knowledge through scientific research, incorporating theoretical and practical knowledge into student's professional training.

Trenčianska univerzita Alexandra Dubčeka v Trenčíne

The Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín in Trenčín is a constituent part of the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area. Its aim is to foster a harmonious personality and knowledge in individuals, and contribute to the development of education, science, culture, and health for the benefit of society as a whole. The university offers higher education at four faculties - Social and Economic Relations, Special Technique, Healthcare, and Industrial Technologies, and aspires to become an innovative educational institution. Quality education is based on creativity, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and professionalism of the students.

BusinessEurope

BusinessEurope brings together 40 business and employers' associations from 34 European countries. It represents 20 million businesses in Europe, represents the common interests of its members vis-à-vis the EU institutions and is a leader in employers in the European social dialogue. The organization provides its members with information, expert studies, opinions adopted and acts in support of them, thus enabling them to directly and effectively influence the development of initiatives, policies and legislative and non-legislative measures of the European Commission in its infancy. NUE has been the only employer organization from Slovakia which is since 2010 a full member of BusinessEurope.

Federation of Austrian Industies

The Federation of Austrian Industries is the voluntary and independent representation of the interests of the Austrian industry and its related sectors. Since 1946, the IV has taken part in all legislative processes as a recognised partner of politics. A federal organisation, nine regional groups and the IV office in Brussels represent the issues of currently more than 4,500 members from the manufacturing sector, credit and insurance, infrastructure and industry-oriented services in Austria and Europe. The Federation’s members represent more than 80 per cent of domestic manufacturing companies.

Digital Coalition

Digital Coalition - the National Coalition for Digital Skills and Occupations of the Slovak Republic (abbreviated to "Digital Coalition", English: Slovak National Coalition for Digital Skills and Jobs) is an initiative with national competence in the Slovak Republic based on the initiative of the European Commission by the IT Association of Slovakia and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister Slovakia for Investment and Informatization with the participation of 21 founding members on September 27, 2017. Its goal is to mobilize across a range of public, private, academic and civic organizations and institutions in Slovakia to improve the digital skills of citizens, IT specialists, all employees and in education. NUE is one of the founding members of the Digital Coalition.
